geek, traveler, writer, hacker
"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius, and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."
I'm a bit of a nomad. I have a passion for technology, travel, photography, and human rights. I try to follow the path less traveled. I've lived in a lot of different places, some small and some big, but I've spent most of my adult life in Los Angeles, New York, and now San Francisco. I always try to do the right thing, but sometimes I'm wrong.
I spend my days at an internet infrastructure non-profit trying to help strengthen the internet around the world, and my nights hacking on various projects. You're as likely to find me soldering electrical components or coding, as you are to find me reading about human rights or gender issues. I'm a bit of a swiss army knife.
I studied international affairs, focusing on issues of rights, justice, and governance at the New School in NYC. I love taking photos. In my spare time, I like to ride my bicycle, surf, and weld stuff. I'm always looking for a new adventure and ways to make the world a better place.
